Autism Assessment Clinic
High-quality, evidence-based assessments for individuals seeking clarity, understanding, and support in relation to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Welcome to Macquarie Health Collective’s Autism Assessment Clinic, led by Tanya Forster, Registered Psychologist.
Our clinic provides high-quality, evidence-based assessments for individuals seeking clarity, understanding, and support in relation to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Our clinic specialises in Autism assessment using a variety of evidence based assessment tools, including the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition) - the internationally recognised gold-standard observational tool for assessing Autism across ages, developmental levels, and language abilities.
What to expect:
An initial consultation with you and your child to discuss your concerns, obtain a thorough history and discuss your goals for the assessment. Questionnaires will be provided to support this appointment and obtain further information required for the assessment.
An ADOS individual assessment will be completed with your child.
You will receive a detailed, professionally written report outlining results, clinical impressions, and recommendations.
We will meet for a feedback session where we will review the results together and discuss supports, resources, and next steps tailored to your needs.
Fees are determined based on individual assessment needs; however a price guide will be provided at the time of appointment booking.
