Dr Heather Ticehurst - General Practitioner

Having obtained her Medical Degree at the University of Sydney, Heather worked at Nepean, Orange and Dubbo Base Hospitals before starting her General Practice career with our practice in 2008.  

As an experienced GP, Heather enjoys managing a wide variety of medical presentations and has an interest in all aspects of medicine.  An element of General Practice which she particularly appreciates and enjoys is the ability to develop long-term relationships with patients, and to be able to provide care for individuals and families throughout the lifespan. Of particular interest to Heather is mental health and skin checks, as well as working alongside our Psychologists and Dietitians to manage functional gut issues.

Heather works with a holistic approach and recognises the importance of the multifactorial aspects of life which affect health.  

In her spare time, Heather enjoys outdoor activities such as riding her bike, walking around the river, and swimming in summer.
