Alicia Rowan - Psychologist

Alicia is a Registered Psychologist with 5 years’ experience working with adults, children and adolescents.

Alicia began her career working an acute mental health setting in Sydney and moved to Dubbo in 2017. She has spent these past years working with children and adolescents over a range of presenting problems. Alicia is experienced in supporting people with anxiety, mood and behavioural disorders, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders including ADHD, Autism and Intellectual Disability.

Her interest areas lie in working with supporting family relationships and attachment through a trauma informed approach, building emotion regulation and coping skills, and supporting clients to increase values-based actions. She is experienced in working with evidence-based interventions of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy.

Alicia completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and a Masters of Professional Psychology through the University of Wollongong. Alicia is a registered provider with Medicare and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
